No.3550 of 2024 Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.p.c To Extension of Time limit for further three months to pay the arrears amount of maintenance passed by this Honourable Court made in Criminal Revision Petition in Crl.R.C. (MD).No.994/2023 dt 09.01.2024 and pass such further or other orders as this Hon`ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstance of the case and thus to render justice.

Prayer in CRL RC(MD). No.994 of 2023 Criminal Revision Petition has been filed under section 397 r/w 401 of Cr.p.c to call for the records relating to the order dated 22.06.2023 passed by the Cr.M.P. No.1099 of 2022 in M.C. No.32 of 2010 on the file of learned Additional Chief Judical Magistrate,Madurai and set aside the same. 1/3

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.Niranjan S.Kumar Advocate for the Petitioner this Court made the following order:

"This case has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time'.

2. This Court while disposing the criminal revision in Crl.RC (MD) No.994 of 2023 dated 09.01.2024, has directed the revision petitioner to deposit entire arrears amount of monthly maintenance i.e. Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand Only).

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has obtained the order of this Court dated 09.01.2024 belatedly and that he could not comply with the order of this Court and thereby, he has sought for extension of time to deposit the aforesaid amount.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant further 2/3

time and accordingly, two weeks time is granted to the petitioner to deposit Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand Only). It is made clear that no further extension of time will be granted to the petitioner in this regard."
