ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to reclassify the petitioner's sisters' lands which have been wrongly classified as Government surplus lands. The petitioner has given a detailed representation on 07.02.2025 seeking reclassification and issuance of fresh patta.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the limited scope of relief sought for by the petitioner, with the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either 2/4

side, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 07.02.2025 after calling upon the petitioner to produce all relevant documents and after conducting an enquiry shall pass orders on merits, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
