Prayer in WP(MD). 1908/ 2020 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Directing the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum, for the period of delay from 01-10-2018 to 21-09-2019, in paying the amounts paid towards the terminal and pension benefits of the petitioner namely EPF Employees Contribution, Gratuity, Encashment of Earned/Sick Leaves and Comnutated Value of Pension, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court and without affecting his right to claim balance amounts towards those benefits. This Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondent for wilfully disobeying the orders passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.1908 of 2020 dated 30.01.2020.

Cont.P.(MD)No.709 of 2021 2.When this Contempt Petition is taken up for consideration, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.1908 of 2020 dated 30.01.2020 has been complied with and he has also produced a memo dated 22.11.2021, to that effect. 3.Recording the said submission of the learned Standing counsel for the respondents, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
