ORDER
This revision has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.144 of 2012, on the file of the Additional Subordinate Court, Dindigul, within the specified time fixed by this Court.
2. It is evident from the records that the respondents / plaintiffs have filed the above suit claiming maintenance from the petitioner, who is the husband of the first respondent and father of the respondents 2 and 3.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioners would submit that when the suit was posted for arguments, the plaintiffs have been filing applications one after another in order to drag on the proceedings and since the suit is of the year 2012 the trial has to be expedited.
4. The High Court has already sent Circulars directing the Courts to give priority for the disposal of old cases, more particularly, more than five years old cases. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

5. Considering the fact that the suit is of the year 2012 and 8 years have already been lapsed, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the learned Additional Subordinate Judge, Dindigul, for early disposal. Accordingly, the learned Additional Subordinate Judge, Dindigul, is hereby directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No. 144 of 2012 pending on his file, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on merits and in accordance with law.
6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
