O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to survey the land in Natham Old Survey No.44/1 to an extent of 148 sq.meter situated at Chinnakeeramangalam, Village, Thiruvadanai Revenue Village Group, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and fix the four boundaries on the basis of the petitioner's survey application dated 23.02.2026.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner purchased the property on 16.02.2000 under Document No.75 of 2000 to an extent of 260 sq. metres (27901⁄2 sq. ft.). Subsequently, on 14.06.2023, the petitioner executed a settlement deed in favour of his sister, Poomayil, conveying an extent of 112 sq. metres, and retained the remaining extent of 1584 sq. ft. for his own enjoyment. Thereafter, the petitioner's sister sold an extent of 1206 sq. ft. in Old Survey No.44/1 to Prabhavathy (3rd respondent) and Ragavi jointly under 2/5

a sale deed dated 09.07.2025. At present, the petitioner seeks to survey the remaining extent of land measuring 148 sq. metres.

3. Heard the learned Special Government Pleader representing respondents 1 and 2.

4. Considering the facts, this Court directs the first respondent to conduct survey after issuing notice to both the petitioner and the third respondent, with the assistance of the second respondent. If police protection is required, the first respondent may approach the jurisdictional police station for the necessary support. The jurisdictional police are directed to provide police protection when the first respondent is seeking police protection. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
