Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent 1 and 2 herein to dispose of petitioner representation dated 23.07.2024 on merits in accordance with law and to pass suitable orders in respect of the patta No.4264 which is wrongly issued by the 2nd respondent in respect of petitioner property comprised in survey Nos.1012/2 988/2c and 990/1A situated at vadapatti village, Sivakasi taluk, Virudhunagar District within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The matter is taken up for admission. Though the petitioner alleges that his representation dated 23.07.2024 questioning the wrong issuance of patta to the third respondent, has not been acted upon, Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the said application has already been taken up and being enquired into and he would therefore, seek for limited direction to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2024, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law with disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2024, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
