O R D E R

Heard, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the material available on record.

2. The petitioners are working as Office Assistant in the office of the Regional Public Health Water Analysis Laboratory, Trichy on 01.12.2016. Their services were regularized with effect from 01.12.2016 by proceedings dated 30.11.2018. Their probation was declared vide proceedings dated 08.12.2019. The next level promotion is Technician Grade-II. As the respondents are not taking steps to fill the post of Technician Grade-II. The petitioners submitted representation on 13.02.2025 to the respondents. Against the in action of the respondents in considering their representation, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the second respondent has sent proposals to the first respondent and it is pending before the first respondent.

In view of the above factual position, in our considered view that without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition can be disposed at the admission stage itself, with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 13.02.2025 of the petitioner within a time stipulated time to meet the interest of justice.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 13.02.2025 of the petitioners and take appropriate decision in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
