This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.02.2024 to grant ordinary leave to the Convict, who is son of the petitioner.
2. When the matter came up for admission, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the request for granting ordinary leave to the Convict has been considered and rejected since he is not eligible under the Rule. The said rejection order dated 25.03.2024 has not yet been served to the petitioner or the Convict.

3. Considering the subsequent event, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said rejection order in the manner known to law.
