O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus against the respondents, the Tahsildar, Papanasam Taluk, at Thanjavur District and the Taluk Surveyor, Papanasam Taluk Office at Thanjavur District to conduct survey of the land of the petitioner in S.No.84/2 A and 27/2 at Adanoor Village, Papanasam Taluk, at Thanjavur District and also by fixing the four boundaries stones.

2. The petitioner had applied for such survey on 14.02.2022. He also paid necessary charges. Documents relating to the same have been enclosed along with the Writ Petition.

3. It is claimed that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the said properties and that there are no rival claimants.

4. A direction is issued to the respondents 1 and 2 to examine the claim of the petitioner and if there are no rival claimants, proceed further to conduct survey and do the needful.

5. The respondents are directed to complete the entire exercise within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition stands allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
