ORDER

The criminal original petition has been filed to direct the first respondent/Complainant to complete the investigation in Crime No.55 of 2020 dated 05.10.2020 pending on his file and to file the final report within a stipulated time.

2.The case of the petition is that the second respondent/sole accused joined the petitioner's organization on 01.07.2015. During his employment, he has misappropriated the fund by showing false expenditure. Hence, the petitioner gave a complaint against the second respondent. Based on the complaint, an enquiry was conducted and thereafter, a case in crime No.55 of 2020, dated 05.10.2020, has been registered. Even after six months, there is no investigation on the First Information report filed by the first respondent and the second respondent is giving more troubles and threaten to him. Hence, the petition filed by the petitioner seeking the aforesaid relief.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5499 of 2021 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation is going on and a final report will be filed within a period of three months. 4.Considering the nature of the occurrence as well as the nature of the offence, the first respondent is directed to conclude the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.55 of 2020 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
