ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider his representation dated 09.05.2022, seeking cancellation of the UDR patta issued in the names of Subramanian and Sekar. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.T.A.Ebenezer, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. 3.According to the petitioner, the subject property belonged to five persons including the petitioner's father Murugan. During UDR updation, the patta was issued only in favour of two sons of Arumugam,
namely, Subramanian and Sekar excluding the other persons. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 14.03.2022, seeking cancellation of patta issued in the names of Subramanian and Sekar. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court. 4.The petitioner has not produced any document to prove his claim over the subject property. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to produce the necessary documents in support of his claim before the official respondents. The said statement is recorded.
5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law in the light of the documents to be produced by the petitioner.
6.In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to produce the documents in support of his claim before the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On
production of the documents within the stipulated time, the second respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.03.2022 and pass final orders on its own merits within a further period of twelve weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner, respondents 5 and 6 and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
