ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested on 06.08.2016, for offences punishable under Section 8(c) r/w 20(b) (ii) (C) of NDPS Act in Cr.No.391 of 2016 on the file of respondent police, seeks bail.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he is in custody for more than one year.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that as per the mahazar, the contraband was seized on 06.08.2016 and the same has been sent to the Court on 31.08.2016 and investigation is pending. She would further submit that the petitioner has no previous case.

4. Considering the fact the petitioner is having no previous case, this Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond in a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge/Special Judge under EC Act Cases and on condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 a.m until further orders.
