O R D E R

When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioner as well as the second respondent / de-facto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent.

3. During the pendency of the criminal case, a compromise was reached between the petitioner and the second respondent/de-facto complainant in the presence of Mediators. A Joint Compromise Memo has been filed by them. In the said memorandum of compromise, the de-facto complainant/second respondent has stated that the dispute has been amicably settled and she has no objection to withdraw the case pending against the petitioners in Crime No.760 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police.

4. In view of the same, the case in Crime No.760 of 2017 pending on the file of the respondent police is quashed. It is made

clear that the respondent police is at liberty to carry on the investigation so far as the other accused are concerned. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
