ORDER

This petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to collect the documents and the CCTV footages as indicated by the petitioner in the representation dated 26.02.2020 forthwith and based on the records collected, the investigation of the case in Cr.No.10 of 2019 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, AWPS, Thilagar Thidal Police Station, Madurai City may be directed to be proceeded with and to file a final report within the stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and also perused the material avaialble on record.

The petitioner has filed this petition to collect some documents and CCTV footages. The petitioner has effective alternative remedy under the Right to Information Act for collecting those particulars. Hence, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy under the Right to Information Act.
