O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to carry out necessary entries of the petitioner's property given under the free house site patta scheme situated in Block No.11B, D.No.85C/3, Gandhipuram Extension, Thallakulam, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District in the revenue / village records maintained in their office in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2019 as expeditiously as possible within the time as prescribed by this Court.

It is the case of the petitioner that the subject property came to the petitioner's possession under the scheme implemented by the State Government with regard to free house site patta to the landless poor. Right from the day of handing over possession, the petitioner is in occupation of the same. Since the petitioner finding much difficulty in dealing with the property, the petitioner made a representation on 07.02.2019, seeking to mutate the revenue records in her name. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has approached this Court. 2/4

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 07.02.2019, would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.02.2019, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
