The petitioner's son died due to electrocution, for which a case has been registered in Crime No.373 of 2019 on 17.08.2019. Since the respondent has not filed the final report so far, the petitioner has approached this Curt, seeking a direction to the respondent police to file the final report within a reasonable time.

2.This Court by earlier order dated 24.04.2024 directed the Superintendent of Police concerned to look into this issue and ensure that the final report be filed within a period of two weeks. 3.Today(09.07.2024), when this petition is taken up, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submits that the final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Usilampatti and the same has been taken on file in CC No.211 of 2024.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), this Criminal Original petition is closed.
