For Respondent : MR.KR.BHARATHI KANNAN, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 145 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1) (aaa) of TNP Act in Crime No.145 of 2021 seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused said to be in possession of 1389 bottles of liquor to sell it for higher price. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and a false case has been foisted against the petitioner. He would also submit that he has been implicated as accused only on the confession of the co- accused.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that 11 previous cases pending against the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Taking into consideration the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
