O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 21.10.2021.

2.Heard Mr.P.Santhakrishnan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Muthu Vijayan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3.In the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition, it had been stated that the mother of the petitioner was taking treatment in a private hospital and she lost her breath on 20.11.2019 owing to medical negligence. The petitioner had given a representation and it is complained that the second respondent had dismissed the petition given by the petitioner on 09.09.2021. The petitioner had filed an appeal before the first respondent on 21.10.2021.

4.A direction is given to the first respondent to issue notice to the petitioner herein, enquire the petitioner, examine the records produced by 2/4

the petitioner and thereafter, examine jurisdiction and the nature of order to be passed and pass final orders with reasons. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
