ORDER

This petition is filed seeking extension of time granted by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.2717 of 2026, by order dated 10.02.2026, wherein the petitioner was directed to surrender before the jurisdictional Court within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that, since the petitioner could not arrange for sureties in time, he was not in a position to surrender before the jurisdictional Court within the stipulated time and therefore the non-compliance is neither willful nor wanton.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to surrender before the jurisdictional Court on or before 24.03.2026. 09.03.2026 gvn 2/4
