ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to quash the First Information Report.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent, on instructions submitted that already investigation over and final report has been filed and the same has taken on file as Sessions Case No.300 of 2018, on the file of the Sessions Court, Thoothukudi.

3. In view of the above said submission, as a final report has already been filed and it also taken on file, at this stage the First Information Report cannot be quashed. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
