2. It is evident from the records that this Court, vide order dated 18.04.2022, directed the Special Court for trial of cases under Prevention of Corruption Act, Tirunelveli, to conclude the trial process within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. Subsequently, at the request of the learned Special Judge, six months further time was granted vide order dated 05.12.2024.

3. Now, the learned Special Judge submitted a requisition dated 10.10.2025 stating that 54 witnesses came to be examined and seeks six months further time.

5. Considering the reasons assigned by the learned Special Judge and also taking note of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is inclined to grant six months further time to complete the trial. Accordingly, six months further time is granted to dispose of the case in Special Case No.8 of 2015 from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
