O R D E R This petition is filed to transfer the case in Cr No.42/2009 from the 3rd respondent i.e. Inspector of Police, Melur Police Station, Madurai District to the 4th respondent i.e.Inspector of Police, CBCID, Madurai District .

2.The petitioner is the victim in Crime No.42 of 2009 and now the grievance of the petitioner is that, even after lapse of 13 years, no progress has been made in the investigation and final report filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by one Nachammal, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.42 of 2009 and that the investigation is going on in a proper manner. He seeks five months time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Considering the oldness of the crime, the third respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No. 42 of 2009 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
