ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to conduct survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's lands in S.F.No. 9, Sub Division No.1A1, to an extent of 0.22.00 Ares, Makipalanpatti Village, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering his application, dated 18.07.2022.

It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents that in pursuance of the order passed by this Court on 21.03.2023, a survey was conducted on 28.03.2023, and the petitioner also signed in proof of the same in the survey report. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents therefore pray to dismiss the writ petition.

3. From the survey report, it is clear that the survey was conducted and the four boundaries of the petitioner's lands were fixed. 2/4

4. In the light of the fact that the survey was already conducted, the Mandamus prayed for cannot be granted. In any event, as the respondents have conducted the survey they are bound to give a copy of the survey certificate and the sketch to the petitioner. The respondents are therefore directed to furnish a copy of the survey certificate and the sketch to the petitioner, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
