Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the land belongs to the petitioner's land in S.Nos. 185/3C and 185/4A3 situated at Kulumani Village, Srigangam Taluk, Trichirappalli District on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 30.08.2024 within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of his survey application dated 08.04.2023.

2. Considering the scope of the relief that has been prayed in the writ petition, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal even at the stage of admission, with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner has sought for survey to be conducted by making an application on 08.04.2023. Subsequently, the petitioner has also followed up the application by giving representation on 11.09.2023. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite both representations, no survey has been conducted.

4. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition directing the first respondent, with the assistance of the second respondent to conduct a survey based on the 2/4

petitioner's application, dated 08.04.2023, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
