ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to direct the respondent Police to file a final report in Cr.No.171 of 2019, dated 11.09.2019 on the file of Perungudi Police Station within a stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner made a complaint against Raman and Kannan and the same has been registered as Cr.No.171 of 2019 on 11.09.2019. However, no steps had been taken by the respondent Police, to file final report. Hence the petitioner has approached this Court.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that on the complaint given by the petitioner investigation is completed and the final report is also made ready, however, the same has not been presented before the concerned Court on account of COVID-19 pandemic.
