O R D E R

This petition is filed to call for the records in C.C.No.69 of 2008 on the file of the Special Judge for TNPID Cases, Madurai and quash the same in respect of the petitioner.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that in this case, out of 107 witnesses, the prosecution already examined 106 witnesses and now the case is posted for examination of the remaining witness, the Investigating Officer, on 14.11.2016.

4.Considering the above facts, this court is not inclined to quash the C.C.No.69 of 2008. Hence, this petition is dismissed. However, the learned trial Judge shall dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
