ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b), 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No.not known of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.6265 of 2020 facto complainant namely Periyasamy, S/o Mookkan lodged a complaint before the respondent police against the petitioner due to a civil dispute that arose between the petitioner and the de facto complainant with regard to the pathway used by the de facto complainant to reach his land for agriculture purpose and the same was refused by the mother of the petitioner, as a result of which, the petitioner called the de facto complainant over phone and abused him using filthy language and threatened him with dire consequences.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State submitted that either there is no petition nor enquiry pending against the petitioner.

5. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
