O R D E R

In response to the statutory notice issued by this Court, respondent No.5 has filed a compliance affidavit by duly enclosing a copy of the Government Order vide G.O.(1P) No.211, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Pa.A-5) Department, dated 23.04.2025, complying with the orders passed by this Court.

2. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondents have not released the amounts that are due and payable to the petitioner under the said Government Order dated 23.04.2025.

3. Mr.F.Deepak, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, submitted that the entire amounts that are due and payable to the petitioner would be paid within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Ms.M.Makkathammal, who is the present Commissioner of Chinnamanur Panchayat Union, is also physically present before this Court today and undertakes that the entire amounts due and payable to the petitioner will be paid within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. In view of the above undertaking given by the present Commissioner of Chinnamanur Panchayat Union in person, this contempt petition is closed by directing the respondents to pay the entire amounts that are due and payable to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the

date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case if the amounts due are not paid, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file necessary application seeking to reopen this contempt petition.
