This petition is filed seeking for police protection to the petitioner and his family members, by considering the representation made by the petitioner dated 07.05.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the respondent police would give police protection only to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.05.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
