PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents 1 to 2 to give police protection to the petitioner life and limb from the respondents 3 to 6 and their henchmen on the basis of the representation dated 11.06.2020. ORDER

This petition is filed seeking for police protection. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is doing Real Estate Business at Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar District. He purchased a land in the name of Sahulhameed / third respondent herein and the same was registered by the Sub Registrar Office, Thiruchuzhi, Aruppukottai. But now the third respondent, without any valid reason, demanding a sum of Rs.90,00,000/- for Rs.10,00,000/- loan availed by the petitioner from the fourth respondent. In this civil dispute between the petitioner and the third and fourth respondent, the respondent police is harassing this petitioner. He is under threat from the respondents 3 and 4 and sought for a police protection at the hands of the respondents 3 and 4.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the third respondent Sahulhameed lodged a complaint against this petitioner before the respondent police, Aruppukkottai https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6276 of 2020 Town Police Station on 10.06.2020 and the same was treated as a petition enquiry in C.S.R.No.165/2020. This petitioner has also sent a representation by the registered post to the respondent police and the same was also received by the second respondent police on 15.06.2020.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor also submits that he has advised the second respondent to enquire into both the complaints given by the third respondent as well as the petitioner and to take a decision.

5.By recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that both the complaints are pending enquiry before the concerned officer, no further order is required. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
