ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner / 3rd accused apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 353 and 506(ii) I.P.C. in Crime No.254 of 2016, on the file of the respondent Police and seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with others prevented the de facto complainant / Village Administrative Officer from discharging his duties of auctioning Veli Karuvel Trees in Varunthi Village.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that all the accused, including the petitioner herein, were granted anticipatory bail by the learned Sessions Judge, Sivagangai, vide order, dated 20.09.2016, in C.M.P.No.1937 of 2016 and since the petitioner herein is settled at Thiruppur, he was not able to furnish sureties in time and the anticipatory bail came to be cancelled.
4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also considering the fact that the earlier anticipatory bail granted by the learned Sessions Judge, Sivagangai, came to be cancelled, because of not furnishing sureties in time, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, with the condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) to the "Tamil Nadu Harijan Sevak Sangh", N.M.R.Subbaraman Memorial Residential Primary School Campus, No.12, Dr.Thangaraj Road, Vinayaga Nagar, Opposite to Madurai Law College, Madurai-20 (Mobile No.9994657433), within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. On such compliance, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ilayankudi, and on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and further he shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.
7. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail would stand dismissed.
