2.This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to consider the representation, dated 17.09.2023. The said representation was given on the premise that the petitioner considered herself as a recognised cultivating tenant under Santhosh Nadar son of Robinson and Saravana Perumal son of Sivasubramanian Nadar.

3.It is the contention of the learned Additional Government Pleader that the petitioner is not at all recognised as a cultivating tenant and the petitioner's claim by relying on the certificate of the Village Administrative Officer would not come to the rescue of the petitioner herein. The landlords have also sold the property to a third person and they had dispossessed the petitioner herein. The petitioner seeks compensation from the respondents.

4.The respondents may pass necessary orders on the representation bringing out all the facts, so that the petitioner would know actually as to where she stands. Keeping the petition pending would not be of any assistance either to the petitioner or to the Revenue Division Officer. Let 2/4

the Revenue Divisional Officer pass necessary orders after giving an opportunity of hearing within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
