The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 18.11.2022, for reclassifying the lands as patta lands of Rayavaram Veda Padasala instead of Government Poramboke lands.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader would contend that the property has been encroached and therefore, the petitioner may have to approach the competent Civil Court.

3. The petitioner does not seek for recovery of possession of the subject property and only based on earlier records, the petitioner has approached the 1st respondent for reclassifying the lands as patta lands instead of Government poramboke lands. The petitioner has also made applications in this regard way back in the year 2014 and again on 18.11.2022. 2/4

4. Considering the above, there can be no impediment for the 1st respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation for reclassification which has nothing to do with the alleged encroached property.

5. In view of the above, the 1st respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law disposing of the petitioner's representation, dated 11.08.2014 followed by 18.11.2022. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
