O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to issue a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to grant approval to her appointment to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher in the third respondent School with effect from 05.03.2018 with all consequential and other attendant benefits including arrears of salary by considering the proposal sent by the third respondent dated 20.11.2023.

2. The third respondent School has appointed the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher on 05.03.2018 in the vacancy that arose due to the retirement of one Gokilamary. Subsequently, the School has submitted the proposal to the first respondent through the second respondent on 20.11.2023 for approval of appointment of the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher. However, till date, approval was not granted. Hence, the writ petition.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the proposal of the third respondent School dated 20.11.2023 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
