O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner's life and property from the antisocial elements based on the representation dated 24.02.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he lodged a complaint as against the unknown persons for the occurrence took place for the continuous threat made by them to evict the petitioner from the property in S.F.No.4795/1 to an extent of 40 grounds, Thallakulam. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that they received the representation of the petitioner dated 24.02.2025 and in the complaint, there is no mention about the names of the respondents. Therefore, the representation is under consideration and they will complete the enquiry within one week.

4. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to provide police protection, based on the representation dated 24.02.2025 and the same is under Page No. 2 of 4

consideration by the second respondent, it is for the 2nd respondent to consider the same and dispose of within a week. In view of the same, this Court direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner date 24.02.2025 and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of this order.

5. With the above said observations and direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
