ORDER
The criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to issue non-traceable certificate in respect of the original settlement deed in Document No.7031 of 1980 on the file of the No.1 and 2 Joint Sub Registrar, Trichy.
2.A property in S.Nos.181/2 and 181/11B measuring to an extent of 40cents, situated at Vadamalaipattipudur, Pirattiyur Village, Trichy Taluk, Trichy District, which was originally owned by the petitioner's grandmother and she had executed the general power of attorney in favour of the petitioner through registered deed in Doc.No.1257/98BK4, dated 05.11.1998.
However, the original settlement deed was found missing while applying for patta. In this regard, the petitioner had lodged a complaint and it is pending on the file of the second respondent.
3.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to issue public notice and produce before the second respondent. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to follow due procedure and issue non-traceable certificate to the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6839 of 2022 within a period of two weeks from the date of issuance of public notice. It is also made clear that the second respondent must ensure that the said document was not deposited by the petitioner for any other purpose.
4.With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
