Respondents Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the second respondent to not to harass the petitioner in guise of enquiry. For Petitioner : Mr.S.M.A.Jinnah For Respondents : Mr.R.M.Anbunidhi, Additional Public Prosecutor.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner in guise of enquiry.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the third respondent is a money lender and he lodged a false complaint against the petitioner before the second respondent. The second respondent police harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry and also threatened her by abusing his power to settle the amount to the tune of Rs.37,00,000/- (Rupees thirty seven lakhs only) or otherwise they would foist a false case against the petitioner. Hence she filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that during enquiry, the husband of the petitioner had executed some documents in favour of the third respondent and according to him, the documents are now available with the third respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum, since the question of harassment may not arise, since the enquiry is closed.
