PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti to take sworn statement in Cr.M.P.No.8350/2021 at an early date. For Petitioner : Mr.D.Srinivasaragavan
ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti to take sworn statement in Cr.M.P.No.8350/2021.
2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had preferred a private complaint under Section 190(1)(c) r/w.200 Cr.P.C before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti and the same has been taken on file in Cr.M.P.No.8350 of 2021. Since the said petition was adjourned on various dates, the sworn statement of the petitioner has not been taken. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition before this Court.
3.Considering the fact, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti is directed to take sworn statement of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and proceed further in accordance with law. 4.With the above direction, the criminal original petition stands disposed of.
