O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to withdraw the lookout circular R.C.No.G1/24699/2015 issued relating to Crime NO.10 of 2015 on the file of the second respondent, against the petitioner.

2. Heard Ms.K.Mahalakshmi, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Mayil Vahana Rajendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that on the complaint lodged by the third https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ respondent, the second respondent police registered a case in Cr.No.10 of

2015 against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 498(A) and 506(ii) I.P.C. and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner filed Crl.O.P.No.638 of 2016 seeking anticipatory bail in Cr.No.10 of 2015 and this Court, by order dated 12.01.2016 granted anticipatory bail on the ground that the respondent completed the investigation and filed a final report before the Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam on 25.08.2015. This Court further directed the petitioner to surrender before the Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam and execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties.

4. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had surrendered on 01.02.2016 and furnished the sureties to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam.

5. Under such circumstances, this Court is of the view that it will not be in the interest of justice to keep the lookout circular alive, as the petitioner surrendered before the concerned Court and has complied with the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.638 of 2016. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to recall the lookout circular issued against the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
