*********** Mr.P.Mahendran, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider his representation dated 12.10.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

3. According to the petitioner, he was allotted a land to an extent of 108.27 square metre in Plot No.33, vide proceedings dated 08.07.1994 by the respondent herein, and thereafter, the petitioner executed a sale deed, on 27.11.2012, for New Plot Nos.23 and 24 and the same was registered as document No.3818 of 2012, on the file of the SubRegistrar, Tallakulam, to an extent of 57.29 square metre alone. Thereafter, the petitioner approached the respondent with a request to execute the sale deed for the remaining extent of 50.95 square metre. Since no action has been taken, in spite of his representation, dated 12.10.2014, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.10.2014, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the petitioner produces necessary records before the authority concerned. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
