This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to direct the second respondent to file a final report/charge sheet in Crime No.10 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent within a period stipulated by this Court. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Thiru.R.M.Anbunithi Govt. Advocate, for the Petitioner and of Thiru.Solaisamy, Advocate for the respondent, this Court made the following order: This petition has been filed to extend the time granted for completing the investigation and to file final report.

2. By order dated 19.01.2021, the petitioner was directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of 6 months. Subsequent to that, this petition is filed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor stating that some of the accused persons are absconding and they have to be secured and documents have to be recovered. On that basis, he seeks further period of 6 months.

3. Considering the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, 6 months time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for filing a final report. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
