ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is a sole accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.09.2016 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 387 and 506(ii) IPC and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.623 of 2016, on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused in a drunken mood, demanded a sum of Rs.10,000/- from the defacto complainant and also damaged his property.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case and he is languishing in jail from 21.09.2016. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that there is no previous case as against this petitioner. 5.Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten
