ORDER
This Writ petition has been filed praying to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 28.05.2015, given by the petitioner.
2. Mr.M.Murugan learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
3. The present petition has been filed for claiming adhoc political pension to each family of the descendants of Maruthu Pandiar brothers of Sivaganga. On 19.07.1982, the Government of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Tamilnadu has through G.O.Ms.No.1143, as per the recommendation made by a Committee, sanctioned an adhoc polical pension of Rs.150/- per mensum to each family of the descendants of Maruthu Pandiar brothers of Sivaganga with effect from the date of the said G.O. Pursuant to the said G.O, the Government constituted a three member committee for the purpose of verification of the claims and submissions of evidence. Thereafter, by G.O.Ms.No.546, Public (Political Pension 4) Department dated 23.03.1990, a five members committee was constituted and the terms of the committee expired on 30.06.1990. Thereafter, the Government issued a letter No.85365A/90-18 dated 08.01.1993 stating that the respective District Collectors themselves may receive applications and process the same.
Therefore, the petitioner has sent various representations to the respondent claiming adhoc political pension. Though the respondents have received the representations sent by the petitioner, till date the said representations have not been considered. Hence, the present petitioner is before this Court by filing the Writ petition.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner represented that he sent his last representation on 28.05.2015 to the respondents 3 and 4 and directions may be given to the respondents to consider the same.
5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the averments made in the writ petition or the merits of the representation, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.05.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
