This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the FIR in Crime No.12 of 2019 registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Sections 498(A), 406 and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a positive final report has been filed on 25.10.2021 before the jurisdictional Court. It has been done through e-filing. It is also stated by the learned counsel for the defacto complainant that the quash petition filed by the other two accused was dismissed by this Court. It is for the jurisdictional Court to take a call on the final report. It is not for this Court to express any opinion on the merits of the matter.
