ORDER
Mr.A.Paul Raj, Sub Inspector of Police, Pudukottai Town Police Station, is present. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that one Sebastiyan has given a complaint dated 24.05.2016 to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Pudukottai, alleging that this petitioner has received Rs.20,00,000/- from five persons promising to get a job in the State Transport Corporation.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a similar complaint was given, in which the District Crime Branch, Pudukkottai District registered a case in Crime No.8 of 2017 against one Tamil Selvan and Cheran and in that case, this petitioner was examined as a witness.
3. In the considered opinion of this Court, the Inspector of Police, Law and order, Pudukkottai Police Station may not be competent to investigate a case of this nature. Therefore, this Court directs to transfer of complaint given by one Sebastiyan to the District Crime Branch, Pudukkottai.

4. In view of the above, the Inspector of Police, Pudukkottai Town Police Station, is directed to transfer the
complaint dated 24.05.2016 given by one Sebastiyan and also records in C.No.298-1/N.Dis/SPO/PDK/16/24.05.2016 to the District Crime Branch, Pudukkottai District, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the District Crime Branch, Pudukkottai is directed to conduct enquiry on the said complaint.
5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is closed.
