ORDER
The present petition is filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to save the life of the petitioner, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 07.04.2021.
2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that based on the representation given by the petitioner, police protection was given to him from 13.05.2021 and the same was also confirmed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5483 of 2021 3.Further, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has made a request that this Court must pass an order, directing the official respondents to continue the police protection. 4.The submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is beyond the scope of the petition. If the petitioner wants consideration of police protection, he has to give proper representation before the official respondents and it is for the official respondents to consider the same, on merits, depending upon the necessity and threat perspective. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.
5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with the aforesaid terms.
