Heard, Mr.R.Gowrishankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.M.Prakash, learned Addititional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2.Let me not delve deeply into the issue, which relates to seeking a mandamus against the first respondent/Inspector General of Registration, Chennai to dispose of an appeal dated 04.01.2023 filed by the petitioner herein. The said appeal had been filed questioning the order of the District Registrar, Ramanathapuram District.

3.A direction is given to the first respondent to issue notice to the contesting parties in the appeal, examine the records, oral and written representations and thereafter, pass necessary orders, within a period of sixteen weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
