Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to provide education loan to the tune of Rs.3,18,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs and Eighteen Thousand only) to the petitioner for pursuing the B.Sc (Nursing) Degree (2017-2021) at Keerai Thamil Selvan College of Nursing, Padukkottai within the time period stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is a student. She is studying Nursing course. It is a four years course. The petitioner had already completed two years. She wants loan to the tune of Rs.3,18,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs and Eighteen Thousand only) from the bank. 3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the bank states that the petitioner's loan application in order and that the Zonal office will take a call in the matter very shortly. 4.Recording the said submission, I direct the respondents to decide on the petitioner's loan application and also dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
