ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to dispose the C.C. No. 186 of 2009 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Nagercoil, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that so far five witnesses have been examined on the side of the prosecution. The case has been posted for examination of other witnesses on 04.05.2023, for which, summon has been issued.
3. Considering the oldness of the matter, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Nagercoil, to complete the trial process within five months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
