ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

2. Mr.N.Kahjankumar, Inspector of Police, Kalyar Koil Police Station, Sivagangai District, is present. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the son of the petitioner is an accused in Cr.No.143 of 2017 for offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 362 and 506(ii) IPC. The petitioner's son obtained anticipatory bail in the Court, but did not surrender before the Magistrate for furnishing sureties. Therefore, the police had gone to the house of the petitioner in search of the person. Under the circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present petition making allegation against the police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the above, no direction as prayed for in the petition can be granted. However, the petitioner is directed to

cooperate with the enquiry, if not the petitioner's son already surrender, and during enquiry the petitioner shall not be harassed.

4. In the result, the petition is closed with the above direction.
